Trusting Your Story uses deep somatic practice to awaken the body’s intelligence for a more holistic leadership. By exploring movement, voice, and emotional states, participants gain the confidence to lead authentically.

Reconnect with your ultimate asset your lived experience.

“Preeti truly embodies the spirit of an 'arts ambassador'... she uses her prodigious skills to bridge cultural, linguistic, and political barriers.”

THE WORK

INTELLIGENCE IN THE LIVED BODY

Trusting Your Story (TYS) focuses on the In Carne (in the flesh) experience to reconnect you with your most powerful asset: your body and your authentic narrative.

GENERATIVE ACTIVATION

TYS methodology is created to generate time-released energy building long-term stamina and opening the mind to divergent thinking and cross disciplinary inquiry. You leave mentally and physically recharged, equipped with the tools to fine-tune non-verbal communication for superior interpersonal impact.

ANCIENT WISDOM MEETS MODERN SCIENCE

THE METHODOLOGY

MOVEMENT-BASED SOMATIC STRATEGY

An approach that uses dance, theater, breath and voice to bridge the verbal and non-verbal. These visceral connectors transform physical awareness into calm, decisive leadership.

“When we started, many students were fearful of songwriting. For most, it was their first time creating a full piece—from text to melody. Though a big task, breaking it into parts helped them run with their ideas. In the end, they connected deeply with the stories and grew into stronger musicians and storytellers.”

— Kristy Jung, Chorale Director, BHSA

"This was such a wonderful workshop that my junior high young women's leadership group enjoyed so much! They’re a very engaged group and a few of the students are dancers, so they loved the interactivity of the session and the theatrical elements to the storytelling. I love how the stories that are highlighted serve to uplift their South Asian identity and empower them as young women."

PROGRAMS OFFERED

"A working woman is constantly juggling multiple and often competing responsibilities  at work and home. This sometimes manifests as constant stress and inner conflict, so a workshop like the one Preeti has envisioned is a gift! We as women need to feel more connected to our mind and body, and take steps to reset ourselves. The integration of movement, dance and yoga feels both grounding and liberating."
