Ben Foskett is a British composer whose music encompasses concert, dance, electronic and theatre works. He studied at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London with Edwin Roxburgh and Simon Bainbridge respectively receiving grants from the RVW Trust and the Leverhulme Trust. He has since worked throughout Europe, America and India.

Principal collaborators over the years include the dance company Thresh, clair-obscur saxophone quartet, the Agon Trio, the London Children’s ballet, Psappha, Sarah Nicolls, Milos Milivojevic, DI theatre company and the London Sinfonietta who commissioned and released on CD his Violin Concerto. In 2009 his orchestral piece From Trumpet was commissioned for the Proms festival and performed by the BBCSO conducted by Susanna Mälkki. Future projects include a piece for saxophone and electronics for Christoph Enzel a second piece for the Agon Trio and a new work for the CBSO Youth Orchestra.

Ben also works widely as an orchestrator for film and lives in Paris.
